Malaysian cuisine is often confused with the Thai and Indian cuisine and yet it is distinct. Like most Asian cuisines the Malaysian cuisine is usually concocted with rice and noodles.

If you want to discover this hearty cuisine try: Satay (skewers), to the nasi goreng (rice with meat and vegetables), nasi lemak (rice in coconut milk), to the Mee goreng (noodles with meat and vegetables), to name but a few.

A Board: at the restaurant if you intend to ask for a glass of water, please specify to the server that your wish to cold water, otherwise it will bring back you a glass of hot water. Indeed, Malays drink plenty of hot water, you can try the experiment if it tells you.
